Job Summary
AltheaDx is hiring Regional Sales Directors (RSDs) for select geographies who will be responsible for establishing IDgenetix as the market leader in pharmacogenetic testing. These individuals will be build a base of business with Integrated Delivery Networks, Long Term Care organizations and Government accounts within their assigned regions. These positions will be responsible for driving initial demand, and eventually hiring a team to deepen and broaden penetration within these segments; regions will span multiple states.
Job Requirements
- Attention to detail and follow-up skills. RSD must be able to maintain relationships with accounts while selling the clinician on the value a molecular diagnostic test and interpretation of results
- Strong analytical skills, business acumen and ability to efficiently budget expenses
- Providing In-Service training to entire physician office staff
- Must be able to use a CRM to track targeting, messaging and strategic information
- Collaborate with MSL to deliver clinical content and presentations
- Attend regional meetings and conferences as planned
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to maintain and effectively deal with highly confidential matters
- Ability to model the corporate values with a demonstrated maintenance of highest ethical standards
- Have demonstrated in the past a comfort level to sell to C-suite customers
- Overnight travel as needed
Education and Experience
- A Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) is required. Degrees in Biology or other related science related field are strongly preferred
- 3+ years of experience in sales within the IVD, pharmaceutical, molecular diagnostics and or lab services
- Existing relationships with institutional accounts as defined above
- Experience in mental health with psychiatry or primary care (preferred)
- Documented successful track record in sales; history of being a top-level performer in prior roles
- Deep understanding of product and disease state
- Demonstrates the consultative sales approach and can overcome obstacles
- Strong knowledge and understanding of insurance coverage and reimbursement
- Valid Driver’s License
