CUSTOMIZED DATA ANALYSIS
The AltheaDx Bioinformatics team offers a wide range of bioinformatics analysis services for various research and clinical projects using industry leading bioinformatics tools. The main bioinformatics services include:

Our bioinformatics services can always be customized to meet the client’s specifications. In most projects, data will also be presented visually as charts, graphs, heat maps, and histograms in a high quality, publication level format. File formats offered include Excel spreadsheet or in formats ready for importation into a database (e.g. tab-delimited and comma-separated text files). The report and all data files will be sent to the client on a DVD.
PCR Data Analysis
- Reference (house-keeping) genes can be recommended according to the experimental sample types
- For real-time PCR assay:
- Raw CT/CRT values will be reported
- Data can be normalized with reference genes and reported using the delta or delta-delta CT/CRT method
- PCR results can also be reported in copy number as referenced to target standard curves, for example, for the assessment of genomic amplifications
- SNP genotype and mutation analysis can be reported in raw data format as delta-CT/CRT between allele forms combined with genotype call
- Data quality measurements will be reported
- Discriminatory analysis to determine differentially expressed genes, e.g. t-test, ANOVA and ANCOVA
- Depending on the client’s specification and study scope, customized analysis can be performed, including supervised and unsupervised clustering, gene enrichment analysis and prediction model construction etc.
