BREAST CANCER SEGREGATION PANEL™

The Breast Cancer Segregation Panel™ Assay was developed based on the premise that gene expression patterns in breast cancer are capable of stratifying patients based on prognosis or response to therapy and that the molecular heterogeneity of cancer can be reduced to small number of core gene expression “modules” of biological function which correspond to cell lineage, pathway activation, de-regulation of a cellular process, genomic alterations or tumor microenvironment. Over 5,000 whole-transcriptome profiles were screened to identify the 96 genes which comprise the breast tumor expression modules in the Breast Cancer Segregation Panel™ Assay.
